VOLUNTEER AT OUR MUSEUMS OR SPECIAL EVENTS!
We rely on volunteers to:
Lead tours at the Sherman House or Georgian museums. You may specialize at one museum or lead tours at both. Share factual highlights you find fascinating with visitors. We provide the training. We ask our volunteers to work one or two afternoons a month.
Welcome visitors to the museum and sell admission tickets. You would also sell items in our museum gift shops. We provide the training. We ask our volunteers to work one or two afternoons a month.
Assist with our special events. We depend on volunteers for events such as our Annual Tour of Homes, Candlelight Tour, and more. We need people to work at the event, set up or tear down. And we sometimes have opportunities for folks to appear in period costume, portraying figures from the past.
